Assistant Branch Manager
We are a commercial vehicle hire company with our head office in Melbourne and branches in Sydney and Brisbane. We are offering an excellent opportunity for a person to assist us in managing our branch in Sydney. Based in Prestons.
The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager.
The position allows the freedom to work when required without being stuck in an office all day.
This is a role offering plenty of variety. You will learn skills across the business spectrum.
The role will include:
Preparation and cleaning of the vehicles
Assistance with the servicing of vehicles and refrigeration units.
Maintenance of vehicles
Vehicle inspections
Maintaining and updating computer records.
Meeting customers to hand over rentals and receive returns.
Documentation
Other duties as assigned by the General Manager
You will need:
to get your hands dirty
be mechanically minded and able to use tools
be willing and eager to learn our systems
to have a positive and friendly outlook
to have pride in your work and pay attention to detail
be responsible and reliable
to have a drivers licence and own transport.
